1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Trade Connect, you agree to be bound by these Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. Trade Connect reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Platform Purpose

Trade Connect is a community platform designed to connect neighbors for the purpose of bartering goods, services, and skills. The platform facilitates connections only; Trade Connect does not participate in, oversee, or guarantee any exchanges between users.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Trade Connect. By using this platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and law enforcement notification:

• Trading, selling, or distributing illegal drugs, controlled substances, or prescription medications
• Human trafficking, exploitation, or any form of abuse
• Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosive devices
• Stolen property or counterfeit goods
• Alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products
• Adult content, sexual services, or sexually explicit material
• Threats, harassment, intimidation, or violence of any kind
• Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
• Any activity that violates local, state, or federal law

5. User Conduct

All users agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in their profile and listings
• Treat all community members with respect and dignity
• Communicate honestly about the goods or services being offered
• Follow through on agreed-upon exchanges or notify the other party promptly if unable to do so
• Report any suspicious, illegal, or abusive activity immediately
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Safety Requirements

For your safety, all users must:

• Meet in public places for all initial exchanges
• Inform a friend or family member of meeting details
• Trust your instincts and decline any exchange that makes you uncomfortable
• Obtain Trustline certification before providing any childcare services
• Verify the identity and credentials of anyone providing childcare

7. Platform Liability Disclaimer - IMPORTANT

READ CAREFULLY: Trade Connect and its owner/operators are NOT responsible for ANYTHING that happens between users.

Trade Connect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree that Trade Connect, its owner, operators, officers, employees, and agents are NOT liable for and bear NO responsibility for:

• ANY conduct, actions, or omissions of ANY user
• The quality, safety, legality, truthfulness, or accuracy of ANY listings, trades, or exchanges
• ANY disputes, arguments, disagreements, or conflicts between users
• ANY injuries, harm, damages, losses, theft, fraud, or crimes arising from or related to trades, meetings, or interactions between users
• ANY content, messages, photos, or information posted by users
• ANY property damage, personal injury, financial loss, or death resulting from user interactions
• The accuracy of user profiles, verifications, or background checks

YOU USE THIS PLATFORM ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Users are solely and completely responsible for evaluating other users, making their own decisions, ensuring their own safety, and accepting all consequences of their trades and interactions.

Trade Connect is ONLY a platform for connecting neighbors. We do not participate in, oversee, guarantee, verify, or take responsibility for ANY trades or interactions between users.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trade Connect, its operators, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

9. Reporting, Law Enforcement & FBI Cooperation

Trade Connect has ZERO TOLERANCE for illegal activity. All users have access to "Report" and "Block" functions on every profile. If you witness or experience any prohibited activity, illegal behavior, harassment, or safety concerns, report it immediately to support@tradeconnect.com. For emergencies, always call 911 first.

MANDATORY LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTING:

• We WILL report illegal activity to local police, state authorities, and the FBI
• Human trafficking, child exploitation, or abuse = IMMEDIATE FBI notification
• Drug trafficking, weapons violations, or violent crimes = Law enforcement notification
• Fraud, scams, or theft = Reported to appropriate authorities

FULL COOPERATION WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT: Trade Connect will provide complete cooperation with all law enforcement agencies including local police, FBI, DEA, ATF, ICE, and any other federal, state, or local authorities. When illegal activity is reported or suspected, we WILL provide ALL available information including:

• User account information, names, emails, phone numbers
• IP addresses and login history
• All messages, conversations, and communications
• Listing details and transaction history
• Photos, documents, and uploaded content
• Any and all other data requested by law enforcement

NO PRIVACY PROTECTION FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY: If you engage in illegal activity on this platform, your information WILL be turned over to law enforcement. We do not protect criminals.

10. Account Termination

Trade Connect reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, remove any content, or ban any user at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these terms, illegal activity, or conduct deemed harmful to the community.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Trade Connect, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Trade Connect and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States of America. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of California.

14. FINAL LIABILITY WAIVER - READ CAREFULLY

BY USING TRADE CONNECT, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

• You CANNOT sue Trade Connect, its owner, or operators for ANYTHING that happens between users
• You release Trade Connect from ALL liability including injuries, damages, losses, theft, fraud, or any harm
• You waive ALL claims against Trade Connect related to user interactions, trades, or meetings
• You accept FULL responsibility for all your trades, meetings, and interactions
• You understand this is JUST a platform - we don't participate in, guarantee, or oversee trades
• You agree to defend and reimburse Trade Connect if someone sues us because of something you did
